    I have a temp sensor working like a charm…

    How do I go about adding more 1-wire sensors? I’d like to add 8..
    with the possibility of different types of devices.. such as:
    PIC microcontrollers
    Field effect devices
    accelerometers…

    At this point, the firmware only allows one DS18B20 type device on the 1-Wire bus. We will provide expanded functionality by March 2008 on the EZIO8SA only.

    No Problem, it’ll take me till then to figure out what and how I want to implement the 1-wire devices…

    I’d really like to setup a weather station all based on 1-wire..
    sense Barometric Pressure, Wind Direction/Speed, Moisture level, and of course, temperature..

    Then, implement that into linuxmce via the EZBridge…
    too cool.

    It will happen. The 8SA being the big brother in the family of IO units has 50% of its flash memory left for expansion. The feature you want is next in the list.

    I am looking to buy a EZIO8SA to connect 3 or 4 sensors to the 1-wire bus. Have the firmware modifications been made to permit the device to support more than one sensor?
