    The documentetion fo rht EZIOxx Utility and the documentetion for the EZIO8SA. Breifly mention a diagnostic mode, but no details are given.
    Can you elaborate on this feature please?

    The quick guide refers to it briefly. The function simply cycles the outputs by turning them on then off sequentially for 1 second each. If you have the relay module you can actually hear the relays as they sequence. In the IO8T you’ll have to have loads connected (lights or LEDs or valves) to actually notice it. In doing this, the communication for the PLC to the module is checked.

    Thank you for the added data.
    I did find this out after getting my 2414S PLC in the system. As you may remember on my computer the 2414U was flaky. Not just with your utility but all USB ones.
