    I noticed a thread below about not being able to get an IP address using a netgear FSV318 V3 router. The solution was the person pulled out an old V1 router. I have a V3 router running the latest firmware (3.026), I can’t seem to get an IP address (therefore can’t see the device either in the router or using the utility) and I don’t have an old router. I have tried rebooting the device by un plugging – plugging – wait 3 sec – hold the button for 10 seconds. Still had the same results. Any suggestions?

    We need to investigate what is going on in the ethernet traffic… are you familiar with capturing traces with wireshark? If not, email me and I can send you instructions.
