I have a temp sensor working like a charm…
How do I go about adding more 1-wire sensors? I’d like to add 8..
with the possibility of different types of devices.. such as:
PIC microcontrollers
Field effect devices
accelerometers…🙂
AnonymousInactiveDecember 12, 2007 at 8:53 pmPost count: 256At this point, the firmware only allows one DS18B20 type device on the 1-Wire bus. We will provide expanded functionality by March 2008 on the EZIO8SA only.

I’d really like to setup a weather station all based on 1-wire..
sense Barometric Pressure, Wind Direction/Speed, Moisture level, and of course, temperature..Then, implement that into linuxmce via the EZBridge…
too cool.AnonymousInactiveDecember 13, 2007 at 4:48 amPost count: 256It will happen. The 8SA being the big brother in the family of IO units has 50% of its flash memory left for expansion. The feature you want is next in the list.

Sweet. Any ideas if this will be field upgradeable?
I can do JTAG if needed..
AnonymousInactiveApril 26, 2008 at 11:54 amPost count: 3I am looking to buy a EZIO8SA to connect 3 or 4 sensors to the 1-wire bus. Have the firmware modifications been made to permit the device to support more than one sensor?
AnonymousInactiveApril 26, 2008 at 7:01 pmPost count: 256Not quite yet. We are behind on adding this feature and had to push it back about 2 months. Thanks for your patience.
