We purchased a few ZBMS3 motion sensors for evaluation purposes for recommendation to a customer but we did not receive any documentation with the devices. Can any tell us what the LED’s on the front of the device modes are and what they mean? Is the momentary button on the back a reset button? It appears the device has a sleep mode, is there any way to turn that off or change the sleep time-out?

I’m sorry to hear your ZBMS3 did not come with any documentation. We do have the documents in pdf form on the website, however, for you to browse – http://smartenit.com/product/zbms3

The device is an end device and will go to sleep periodically to conserve battery, but even when plugged in still operates the same way. If you can configure reports to happen more frequently, it will wake up the device more often.

The value will be in Celcius. Convert to decimal and divide by 100.
