    I’m using a 2412S with a USB serial port adapter as it seems RS232 ports are almost extinct. I want to plug in directly to my computer with the adapter, will a 2414U work with the Simplehomenet Utility? Also what is the BEST module to use with the Simplehomenet Utility?

    Hello Bob,

    If you’re going to use the USB PLM, you’ll want the 2412U…the 2414U is a PLC and requires the SDM to run in the background, which can be problematic from time to time.
