Timer Issue

I have a very strange timer issue. I have 16 timers setup with 4 of them set to trigger at 30 minutes before sunset. All the timers work perfectly except for *one* of the timers that is set to sunset-30. That timer is supposed to turn on a lamp in my office. I have another timer that turns the lamp on in the monring and that works fine. I have tried deleting the timer and re-creating it but that didn’t work. I have deleted the device and re-establsihed all 4 timers associated with this device. The three timers associated with a particular time work fine, the sunset-30 timer o this lamp simply will not fire. Help!

Try setting the fourth timer to sunset-29 or sunset-31. Just a hunch. This trick has worked for me when I’ve had too many devices being timer controlled at the same time.

I thought of that as well. I now have all my timers firing at different times and they worked OK tonight for the first time.

SHN – is there a limit to how many timers you can fire at the same time? Note that each timer is activating a device directly, I’m not using groups.

There is not a designed limit – I have had during testing up to 100 scheduled at the same minute.

One unique point is that I did not do the “many timer test” as a relative point from sunrise / sunset. This shouldn’t matter, but we will investigate.
