I realize that the website and the app clearly state that it is not “currently” supported, but do you have any rough ideas on when this will be supported? Until it is, I can not upgrade my EzSrve to support it.

Technically we should be able to upgrade the EZBridge, but since its a discontinued product we did not test our new firmware on it. Let me test and check if the upgrade procedure works.

Unfortunately, we have had a few other major projects that have taken priority over scene incorporation, which has pushed back the deadlines for many other projects, including scenes.
The framework for scenes is laid out in the Harmony Gateway’s firmware, we just need to work on the GUI for it at this point…so once we can get back on that project, it shouldn’t be long before we have scene support with iSmartenit.

My concern now is whether Simplehome.net can keep up with product issues/support/etc… I am getting really excited about other automation capabilities, such as NEST integration, etc… but if scenes are taking this long… other options will probably take even longer.
As we are getting into the holiday time frame, I won’t have any opportunity to upgrade EZServe. So maybe next year it will be.

We are very close to releasing Scenes, in final stages of testing the App. Check it out:
app.smartenit.com/developChoose “Let me setup connection manually”
then under public ip address enter address of demo gateway: 98.189.165.238
then click Connect.We should be in a position to release the updated Gateway Firmware and the App before the end of this week.

I have a couple of questions…
1. Does backup and restore work?
2. Do we have to use the smartenit website to do configuration or can we still use the java app and directly interface with the device?Thanks Dawahl for the information and help.
