Holidays file:
Here are excerpts from the Actions file, specifically the two actions I have seen triggered on holidays (last night and tonight)
These were just downloaded from my EZServe, so they are not stale files.

Ran at the correct time but the wrong day? Just a thought, did you check date setting. I have seen it change during a reboot if the SET TIMEZONE button was not clicked after setting the date/time.
AnonymousInactiveOctober 7, 2010 at 2:39 pmPost count: 1001The post about the Action that should not have triggered was posted on Tuesday and the Action itself is defined to trigger on Tuesday. Can you elaborate. I’m not sure what I should be trying to recreate. Thanks.
AnonymousInactiveOctober 8, 2010 at 9:19 pmPost count: 73Grif,
The actions I posted above are ones that occur every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (and into Saturday). They are selected as such. Holiday is not selected for these actions, yet they are being triggered as if the day is not entered as a holiday.
I did notice last night that a couple actions that ARE set for Holiday are also being triggered.
I thought maybe the problem was that I had restarted the EZServ after adding the holidays, instead of resetting. I unplugged the device for a few moments yesterday, but the actions were still triggered.

No, the action DID run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, however, those days are in my list of Holidays. The action does NOT have ‘Holidays’ selected in the conditions. It is my understanding that the actions will only occur on Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, if they are NOT Holidays.
AnonymousInactiveOctober 8, 2010 at 10:38 pmPost count: 1001The Holiday file does not create a NOT condition. When Holiday is checked the Action will trigger on the Holidays defined. If Holiday is not checked that does not preclude an Action from triggering on a Holiday if specific days are specified.

So holidays just execute only what actions are specified to run on holidays…. but everything else continues to run if a holiday happens to also be a day that a particular action normally runs on?
IMHO that defeats the purpose of holidays. Oh well, I have adequately lowered my expectations of the EZServ. I will probably replace it later this year with the Insteon USB controller and software.
Now the issue I’m having is the EZServ has gotten REALLY sluggish. It takes several minutes to go from the Areas tab of the HTML interface to any of the other tabs. I downloaded all the files and did a full reset of the device… and it’s still the same issue. I’ve run the reset from the interface, I’ve held the reset button (and it reset, since my password and the IP assignment reverted back to the defaults).
Everything on my network seems fine (both Insteon and ethernet). I can see one of my RF access points from my desk, and the light no blinky.

Now all the sudden it’s fast again. I’m baffled.
I did upload the devclusters file that I had previously downloaded. But it uploaded that one really quick. I didn’t really do anything before that. hmmm…

Uploaded my Actions file, and now it’s sluggish again.
AnonymousInactiveJuly 21, 2011 at 10:37 pmPost count: 73And now it’s fast again.
AnonymousInactiveJuly 21, 2011 at 10:37 pmPost count: 146Hello there,
The first time the page loads it will take some time depending upon how big the xml file is. Once it’s loaded into your browser though, going between the tabs should be fast.
AnonymousInactiveJuly 21, 2011 at 10:52 pmPost count: 73Odd because it never behaved that way before. It seems to be doing as you indicate – taking quite a while to load one of the tabs, but after it’s been loaded in the browser, I can switch back to it from another tab quickly.
I didn’t run any updates or change anything. It’s been running there fat dumb and happy for several months. Why would the behavior of the HTML interface suddenly change?
Yesterday, it wouldn’t execute actions, either scheduled or in response to a programmed button press from my RemoteLinc.
