I’m somewhat at a loss as to how to program the EZUIRT using the Simplehomenet Utility.
I can program the buttons, and add links and such, but they don’t do anything after I’ve done so. In fact, if I “READ” a button from the utility, change(and “WRITE”) the “Function” (which seems to refer to the IR button code), and then change it back, that button is then non-functional (there is no Insteon traffic generated).
This is besides the point that, even when programmed solely through the devices themselves, my EZUIRT will eventually quit generating *any* codes, and I have to do a factory reset. This has happened dozens of times. I’m trying the SHN Utility in order to program more easily, and hopefully, more successfully…
