    I’ve just received my upgrade to Houselinc and noticed that my Ezrain doesn’t appear to supported. Should it work? I’ve contacted Smarthome as well to find out from their side, but just wondering if anyone has tested it at all.

    I just found that it is not supported in the current release.

    However, I’ve tried to install the Simplehomenet Utility for the time being… should it work with the new PLC from Smarthome?

    HL2 ships with a PLM not a PLC. I don’t think the Simplehomenet Utility works with a PLM. Also from what Smarthome has indicated. The PLM in the HL2 kit is specially configured for HL2.

    Is their a projected date for support of this product with Houselinc 2 PLM? I traded my PLC in not knowing it wouldn’t work with the upgrade. Is this a Smarthome software re-write or SimpleHomenet?

    The answer to when HouseLinc 2 will contain support for SimpleHomeNet devices has to come from Smarthome. SH rarely make statements beyond it is coming in a future release, which they stated when HouseLinc 2 was released.

    The SimpleHomeNet utility continues to support the PLC and EZSrve/EZBridge as powerline interface devices.
