As a free product I can understand support for HomAidPi may be limited.
I have been able to get it up and running and linked a couple Insteon devices. I still can’t control the Insteon devices but I can “see” them. Every time I try to add an x10 device the program crashes. The Pi still works but HomAidPi is locked up. Is there more documentation available? I’m willing to believe I’m doing something wrong. At this point the program is worthless without some help. At least create a spot for it on this forum so users can support each other.

I’m so sorry for the late reply. Which interface have you connected to the RPI? Only the ZBPLM and EZICOMM interfaces can communicate with Insteon and X10 devices.
If you do have either one of these interfaces, can you please try to uninstall your ZBPServer. Then run the command: sudo apt-get update. And then try to install the ZBPServer again, please make sure the interface is attached to the RPi before you install the ZBPServer again. If you have additional problems, please call us at (949) 429-3303 or email me at ddoshi@simplehomenet.com

http://www.smarthome.com/2448A7/INSTEON-Portable-USB-Adapter/p.aspxto try this out. Are you saying this isn’t supported by HomAidPi?
Thanks!
AnonymousInactiveFebruary 26, 2013 at 3:02 amPost count: 259@dgreenb: Sorry we have not tested the Insteon USB interface.
I suggest buying the Smartenit ZBPLM:
http://www.simplehomenet.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ZigBee_INSTEON_X10_InterfaceIts more expensive than the USB stick interfaces, but gives you ability to control Insteon,X10 and Zigbee devices.

There is a lot working and i have received some good info from Dhawal by Email.
I would like to open a dialog.
I have a KeypadLinc that i would like to access the A,B,C,D buttons in Wizards Is this supported ?AnonymousInactiveJanuary 28, 2014 at 5:36 pmPost count: 259Hi Lynn,
The Raspberry Pi activity is normally under the Raspberry Pi Thread.
The Keypadlinc A,B,C,D buttons can definitely be supported in Wizards, we have this under our ToDo list for the iSmartenit App. I will let you know when an update is available. Thanks.
