I’d like a device which would learn all the codes for my Comcast (Scientific Atlanta) DVR and then send those codes in response to an Insteon message initiated from my EZServ which would be driven via XML. I can already watch the output of the DVR from any TV in the house so the idea is that I’d create a GUI interface on my computers which could be used from any room to control the remote DVR.

    Questions:

    – what’s the full code capacity of the EZUIRT – can it learn all the buttons for 2 or 3 remotes and then link insteon codes to all of them?

    – does the EZUIRT support the IR codes of the Scientific Atlanta DVR’s?

This is really annoying. I have myself emailed tech support regarding other issues but haven’t received a reply yet. I guess I’m just gonna have to return my product for lack of support.
