    I’ve tried to setup email notifications but can’t find any documentation. I think I have to have a simple SMPP server to send through right?

    Go to Wizards, add whatever condition you want. Then add an Effect under “Do this”. Select the Messenger device and add your email, subject and message. when the condition is met you will get an email.

    You can even send a text to yourself. Follow the format below:

    Provider Format
    Sprint phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
    Verizon phonenumber@vtext.com
    T-Mobile phonenumber@tmomail.net
    AT&T phonenumber@txt.att.net

    I had tried that I thought, I’ll try it again.

    Who is the actual sender of the email then? Does it get routed through the Smartenit server or get sent directly from the gateway/Pi?

    It gets sent by a Smartenit Cloud Service. It would be something like Messenger@Smartenit.com

    took a little fiddling, but now it’s working as expected. Thanks! Answered my question, it comes from Messenger@smartenit.com.

    new twist. I want a wizard to email me if motion is detected between 9:00am and 6:00pm on weekdays. is there a way to specify that interval?

    I tried with the interval setting, but I don’t think that will do what I’m looking for.

    That would be a window condition. We have disabled that in the App for now because of some ambiguity and bugs.
