    I’m going to edit my actions.xml in a text editor and upload it to the device, since I’m working a different schedule next week.

    Will the device freak out of I have commented out lines (lines starting with #) in the file?

    I can find nothing in XML syntax that takes a leading # as a comment. I would think the answer is no.

    Did find this:

    Comments in XML

    The syntax for writing comments in XML is similar to that of HTML.

    But I think as Linux sysadmin… I think that lines that start with # are not parsed by whatever service parses the configuration files. I guess the above works.

    I’ll test it out later. I have a new file set up to upload.

    The above comment out function appears to have worked well. Now I need to edit the old Actions file to upload tonight since I’m switching back to my regular schedule.
