Under manage device links, I can use the Simplehomenet Utility Suite connected to EZServe to get links from every insteon device I have, except the EZServe itself. What am I doing wrong?
All I get is a loop four times of Sending insteon message, retrying, attempt, followed by insteon message timeout.
The traffic monitor shows this on the sent side,
To ID:06.4C.D8 flags:0F cmd1:28 cmd2:F
To ID:06.4C.D8 flags:cmd1:28 cmd2:F
To ID:06.4C.D8 flags:cmd1:28 cmd2:F
To ID:06.4C.D8 flags:cmd1:28 cmd2:F and this on the received side:
from ID:0C.B4.BA flags:2B cmd1:11 cmd2:FF
from ID:0C.B4.BA flags:2B cmd1:11 cmd2:FF
from ID:0C.B4.BA flags:2B cmd1:11 cmd2:FF
from ID:0C.B4.BA flags:2B cmd1:11 cmd2:FF It does show the links in the EZSrve web interface for the the EZServe:
Controller of FP Toggle Link on Unit 01 – Data: 00-00-00
Responder to EZSnsRF on Unit 01 – Data FF-1A-01
Controller of RS Toogle Link on Unit 01 – Data:00-00-00
Responder to EZSnsRF on Unit 0D – Data:FF=1A=01But there I am not able to link my EZIO to the EZServe.
Help! 🙂
Wife coming back from vaction on Tuesday 26-August, and if I can’t show the big bucks I’ve spent on this working, she’s going to want to send me and my insteon devices back to the factory!Jeff 🙂

What are you looking to do on the EZSrve? Using the web interface (make sure to download the latest 1.55) you can delete links on the EZSrve. If you are looking at doing some manual edits, one way to do that would be to edit the devices3.xml file, re-upload and synchronize.

Responder to EZSnsRF on Unit 0D – Data:FF=1A=01
Also you mentioned not being able to link your EZIO device. What type of EZIOxx device do you have? The EZSnsRF is not in that family of devices.
