Hi,
I successfully installed the zbpserver on my Raspberry 3 and I successfully added a light switch (via the Add Manually Option) to the configuration and I successfully can turn it on and off.
Next, I want to add one of my EzFlora devices but I fail doing that. I again choose the “Add Manually Option”, set the Insteon ID and hit the “save” button. Then a dialog box comes up that says “Adding Insteon Device”. After 30 sec or so, the dialog box goes away and no new devices are added.
I don’t dare to use the “Add by Discovery” because my main controller is an ISY.
The main reason I’m trying the zbpserver is that I’m hoping zbpserver has better support for an EzIO8SA than my ISY (and I would like to buy a 2nd EzIO8SA…)
Hopefully it is something silly that I’m doing wrong…
Thanks
Bert

Thank you for your message.
It looks like your devices are talking to each other but there isn’t a link being made between the devices for some reason. I cannot tell why by your logs, however.
You can try to add by discovery to see if that gives you any better success? We do not do anything with existing links, we just add to what’s already there so you shouldn’t have anything to worry about your existing links with the ISY.

I did what you suggested and it ‘discovered’ my EZIO8SA without pushing any buttons.
Thanks
