Hi,
I’ve been using the PogoPlug and a PLM along with the iSmartenit app to control Insteon and x10 devices. Which by the way, works great! I have incorporated wizards to perform some “when – do this “ scenarios including sending an email or txt’s(see below) when certain events take place. The triggered scenarios still work fine but suddenly I have stopped receiving the emails to let me know when the scenarios are triggered. The last successful email was received last month on July 29th and have not been able to receive any since then. I understand the e-mails come from the Smartenit Cloud Service can you please let us know how this can be fixed.
Thank you!

Thanks for the post. The Emails have stopped working because we had to make some necessary changes in the cloud server. The fix for this will be an update to the ZBPServer, which will be released very soon.
We will Announce the new release on the forum’s as well as the mailing list.

AnonymousInactiveAugust 27, 2014 at 1:05 amPost count: 9Hi Dhawal,
Thanks for getting this to work on your end again. I have tested the events on my end but I did not receive an e-mail notification. Is there anything that I would need to do on my end to make this work again?
As always Dhawal thank you for all the support!
AnonymousInactiveSeptember 11, 2014 at 7:17 pmPost count: 259What is the firmware version of ZBPServer you are using? The email service should work perfectly with version 1.14.8.
AnonymousInactiveSeptember 16, 2014 at 4:24 pmPost count: 9Hi Dhawal,
The firmware version is 1.14.6
Thank you..
AnonymousInactiveSeptember 16, 2014 at 9:47 pmPost count: 9Hi Dhawal,
Will any of the devices and or wizards be lost when upgrading to the new firmware? Is there a way to save profiles with the current devices and wizards. For example lets say I wanted a profile for the summer, a different one for the winter or even just one for a certain vacation time period?
Also is there a different way without having to SSH into the pogoplug to do the firmware upgrade?
Thanks!

Everything will be preserved if you follow the directions, since it is first creating a backup and then restoring the important files.

Not as of now. But something we can implement. Let me look into that.
Also is there a different way without having to SSH into the pogoplug to do the firmware upgrade?
Yes, through the iSmartenit App. The view where you see the Firmware version is where you will see a button “Upgrade your Gateway”. But this won’t work with your version because the URLs for new updates have changed. So unfortunately SSH is the only option.
Let us know if you need any help.
AnonymousInactiveSeptember 18, 2014 at 7:57 pmPost count: 9Upgraded to the new firmware 1.14.8 using Dhawal’s steps below, and all worked flawlessly. So happy to be able to receive the e-mail messages once again. Looking forward to adding more devices and creating additional wizards.
So happy to hear something will be implemented to save different profiles for different occasions as in examples of at home or on vacation scenarios.
As always Dhawal and the rest of the folks…Thanks again!!
Follow the steps below to upgrade:
1. $ cp -rf /etc/zbp /etc/zbp-bk;uninstall_zbpservices.sh;cd /tmp/;
wget http://repo.smartenit.com/ZBPServer/pogo/zbpserver.sh;
chmod 777 zbpserver.sh;./zbpserver.sh2. Pogo will reboot after new installation. Log back in.
3. $ killall -9 zmonitor.sh zbp_services;cp /etc/zbp-bk/*.bin /etc/zbp/;/sbin/reboot

Regarding different profiles: Why don’t you try the Scenes feature! Create a Scene called Vacation and add all devices you want to control in the Scene. Then Turn the Scene ON/OFF whenever needed.
I actually have a scene in my home called Bedtime. When I turn on the Scene all devices will turn off!
