    Does the messenger currently work? I thought it would be nice to send myself an email under certain conditions, but my initial tests don’t seem to do anything. Is there any setup I need to do that I’m missing?

    Yes, the messenger does work, it can only be added to an Effect in the Wizard, what kind of a wizard do you have?

    Try a simple test to see if its the messenger not working or its the Wizard not working properly. I will an updated firmware soon to resolve some Wizards issues that got introduced recently.

    I had a test message sent to myself in my “Sunrise” wizard. The other actions performed correctly — the path lights turned off, etc — but I didn’t receive any email. I’ll try a couple other wizards and see if I can find any that work.

    I also cannot get the messenger service to work. I created a test wizard, just a simple, when the light comes on send email. I tried both texts and email, no joy. The app does say the wizard was triggered, but I don’t receive anything.

    Hi,
    Can you please check your Junk and Spam folders, the email is sent by Messenger@smartenit.com. You may also want to add that email address so your email service does not send it to spam.

    Let me know if you are still having trouble with this.

    I checked all of the spam filters, nothing there. It does seem to be sending emails about 70 percent of the time, but it is not completely reliable. I cannot get it to send a text to me at all. I am using Verizon vtext and it should be pretty straight forward, but I never receive any.
