    I have an EZIO8SA #3011A along with a PLM 3407Firm52 rev 2.4.
I want to use the I/O for many purpuses of which one is to monitor a motion detector that trigger a NC dry contact for 2-3sec.

The problem I have is that it seems that the EZIO/PLM don’t have time to finnish sending the ON command when the input gets back to off. This causes the modules to simply drop the OFF message???

Is there a minimum time period to respect between on and off cyles on the inputs, if so, it would really need to be shortened!

The other strange behaviour I see is that when input on swithes to ON, all other inputs seems to report being ON for a brief period of time when being pooled then report being OFF after a couple of seconds?

    Thanks for your support

Dan, the only reliable polling would be direct messaging interogating the input register (see command set document). Otherwise you would be getting an artifact of the utility being used.
As far as missing commands, a 1-second transition should be seen.
