I am using a RemoteLinc (with Accesspoints), the Utility Suite V1.1, SDM 308, PLC V2.13 and EZRain V2.0 for my irrigation system. Zone limits and Program run times have been set via the Utility Suite successfully and can be retrieved from the PLC and EZRain units. I have manually linked the EZRain to the RemoteLinc button #1 using the manual tap method. My intent is to replicate this link record with modifications for the other buttons using the Manage Device Links function in Utility Suite.
When I select Read and Display Links from the Manage Device Links tab, I get a “Found a record…retrieving” message displayed in the bottom of the window, however the record is never returned. Here is the SDM traffic log from the exchange (PLC=07.F9.6F, EZRain=05.92.E8 ).

=============================================Can you help diagnose the issue and point me in the right way to manage the links? Thanks.
AnonymousInactiveOctober 11, 2007 at 3:06 amPost count: 2561) Please ensure you have the latest version of the utility (1.3) available from our website. This feature does not work in previous releases.
2) Beware that while our utility will let you manage links in any of our devices, and any device that uses the so-called linear databases, the utility can not be used with the linked-record type database used in many of the Insteon devices such as LampLincs, ControLincs, KeypadLincs, etc.AnonymousInactiveOctober 13, 2007 at 2:30 pmPost count: 2@simplehome wrote:

Thanks. The link database now responds.

Thanks for the heads-up. You did not mention RemoteLincs in your list – are they also excluded for your utility?
Additionally: Is the 3 bytes in the data field for flags, cmd1 and cmd2?
AnonymousInactiveOctober 18, 2007 at 4:38 amPost count: 256We believe the RemoteLinc uses the linear database but we are not sure.
The data bytes in the link are device specific. They are used for things like ramp rate, ON level, etc. -
