The project has been released under the GPL. The project is being hosted on sourceforge. Anybody interested please feel free to join. The code was deliberately developed in VB for the casual coder, and Mono will allow translation to OS X and Linux. As the package matures, and if we get enough serious coders interested, we may look at migrating to a more robust language and cross platform environment.

AnonymousInactiveDecember 3, 2007 at 1:28 amPost count: 57Hi:
Just for grins I thought that I would take a look at the source, but the login info posted on the sourceforge page:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@shnutilitysuite.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/shnutilitysuite login (press ‘enter’ for password)doesn’t work for me.
(The module browser also doesn’t seem to work but it probably requires a working login – as I recall there’s a cvs command to list modules also – again after successfully logging in)
thanks
edcAnonymousInactiveDecember 3, 2007 at 1:56 amPost count: 408I will take a look, not sure why you are having problems. In the meantime, the source for each release is posted on the downloads section.
AnonymousInactiveDecember 4, 2007 at 5:04 amPost count: 57I noticed some source in the .zip version but I thought that there would be more… Ill have to grab VB from work and load it up here and give it a whirl…
thanks
edcAnonymousInactiveDecember 4, 2007 at 1:25 pmPost count: 408I am going to go through and understand why CVS is having a prob, it contains the current work in progress – the .zip file has all the source required to build the latest release.
I will be looking at the cvs problem later next week, after we meet a couple firmware releases on some products we have.
AnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2007 at 6:08 amPost count: 2Isn’t SourceForge also providing SVN access now?
CVS combined with TortoiseCVS client isn’t bad, but SVN is even better.
Especially when combined with TortoiseSVN client.AnonymousInactiveDecember 27, 2007 at 4:12 amPost count: 408SVN should now be active with no problems on sourceforge. The WIP is located there if anyone is interested.

SVN Checkout via TortoiseSVN worked perfectly on the first try. -
