Please DO NOT use the 6-pin to 8-pin cable supplied inside the PLM box!
The cable that should be used between the PLM and either the EZIO8SA or EZBridge is a regular, straight, 8-pin to 8-pin RJ45 cable and is supplied with the Simplehomenet product. This cable carries the serial connection as well as power.

DO NOT connect the Smarthome supplied 6-pin to 8-pin cable between the PLM and the 1-Wire connector on the EZIO8SA – This will damage the EZIO8SA!!

DO NOT connect the Smarthome supplied 6-pin to 8-pin cable between the PLM and the PLM connector of either the EZIO8SA or EZBridge. The units will not work as there will be no serial conmmunication between the PLM and the Simplehomenet device.
