The Universal Devices ISY-26 currently supports the EZrain to the extent that it recognizes and can control zones 1-8 on an individual basis, but does not provide access to the Zone commands (9-12), representing zone programs 1-4. Also, the ISY-26 does not currently support x10 commands, so that functionality is not an option. Also the SDM can not be used to communicate with the ISY-26.
I currently use the EZrain utility to program the EZrain unit. I use the ISY-26 to schedule timed activity on the EZrain using separate timed schedules for each zone. Manual control is accomplished either by x10 desktop and remote controllers or individual insteon controllers set up using the tap-tap method. This is not the best solution, but it works.
1-Can you tell me, if there are any plans to provide additional communication between the EZrain and ISY-26?
2- In another post it was mentioned the the “Skip” and “Inhibit” commands are will be considered for inclusion is future updates. Is there any time estimate when this might happen?
