What situation would cause me to use the SYNCH EZSERVE button on the Device Management screen? What is it synch’n to/from? I am just trying to understand how the EZSrve works.grif091MemberFebruary 5, 2009 at 2:57 pmPost count: 1001
The SYNCH DEVICE and SYNCH EZSERVE functions bring the device link database and the EZSrve XML link information into sync.
The SYNCH DEVICE function takes the link record information in the EZSrve XML for the selected device and writes that link information to the device link database. This function rebuilds the link database in the device. Useful if you factory reset the device.
The SYNCH EZSERVE function reads the link records currently stored in the selected device and rebuilds the EZSrve XML link information for that device. Useful if link definitions have been manually added to the device using the Set button.
