    I ran the utility program and set my Insteon address for the unit. Then I go to the Zone Control and click on “Get Manual” or one of the programs. The program retrieves a few of the settings then just hangs with the “Busy” message. Also, sometimes some of the retrieved numbers aren’t what I saved.

    Terry, if you are still having problems, please call the toll-free line. Usually what you are describing is caused by conflicts with the DM or another automation program concurrently using the PLC.
    Unfortunately our utility does not do error extensive checking so there is not a lot of feedback from it on communication issues at the DM level.

    That is the problem. If you have or are using another program that is using the SDM, this will cause errors using the EZRain software. There are some progams that leave services running on the computer that call for the SDM to keep running in background. You may have to enter the Windows Task Manager to stop those services. I had the same problem and found HomeSeer and some SDM processes still running and when I stoped those processes everything worked fine for me. I am happy with my EZRain controller. It does sometimes get locked up and just unplugging the unit resets it. Great Product! I am looking forward to using the HVAC controller next.
