When I bought the EZServe was installed version 1.54, I configured my network and was working well, then I updated to V1.55, it begun to work bad, sometimes my lights didnt answer, so i had to click two or three times to make it work, then upgrade to v1.56 without knowing that it should follow the instructions of the release notes, now I can not nor do links with the push buttom metod nor with the ID metod, I did the procedure to update the databases but it didn’t work , now i don’t know what to do to get it to work.AnonymousOctober 22, 2008 at 4:37 pmPost count: 1001
I’m checking with SHN support about this but my memory has the devices3.xml changes happening at the 1.54 release which would mean there is no need to convert when starting with 1.54.
Can you expand on the symptoms you are seeing? Any error messages that are displayed. What device(s) can you not add now, what type of device is it. Is this a new device that was recently installed? This may be a powerline communications problem rather than an xml compatibility issue. Are you using Access Points or Signal RF devices to couple the powerline phases.
SHN confirms you do not need xml conversion. The 1.54 release you started with had the new format. Unless something happened to the devices3.xml file during the attempt to convert, your devices3.xml file should be fine.AnonymousOctober 24, 2008 at 3:33 pmPost count: 2
I dont have any link right now in my EZserve…
When i try to link any device,( i have tried with relays, dimmer and KP) via push buttom metod the led does blink but when i push the button of the device to links it, it enters to link option and starts to blink its led, and EZserve’ led starts to blink quikly, in the screen i only see de Device addition/deletion message and i have to cancel the process because it never cancels by itself.
When i try to link via ID metod i only see de Device addition/deletion message and i have to cancel the process because it never cancels by itself or detects the device.
It is not signal problems because i have tried to link with the device connected on the EZserve outlet and the same problem occur
