How to run Discovery.jar

I downloaded the Discovery.jar file and tried to run it but it doesn’t do anything on my system. I am running MacOSX and have the necessary Java Runtime environment setup but I can’t seem to get it to run. I can try it on a Windows machine but would like to know how to do it on the Mac if at all possible.

According to post from the original author it should run on OS X. It requires Java 6 or later. One user posted this command

java -jar Discovery.jar
