Has anyone else had problems with a sunset/sunrise timer? After setting time and location through the utility, I’m seeing the time for sunset go off about 2:20 prior to the correct time.
Any suggestions? Known bug?

Did you set the timezone?
Dd you verify the latitude and longitude?
AnonymousInactiveAugust 27, 2007 at 4:08 pmPost count: 3Version 1.1 of the utility. Time and time zone were set. Latitude and longitude seem to be correct (at least based on what was set). I also assume that negative longitude is the same as west longitude.. ?
Is there any way to verify what was actually stored in the device?
I don’t know what version of firmware is running on the ezBridge/ezServe device, or on the PLM/PLC…
(One of the complications is starting to look like the several different hardware/software layers here – Windows client software, ezBridge/ezServe hardware and firmware, PLM/PLC hardware and firmware. Would it be useful to verify the current version of all of these, and describe where to find this information?)
Thanks,

GetRevision
Also, there is a get latitude / longitude command:
GetLatLong
This will tell you your PLM Version:
GetVersion
Finally, in the next Beta version (0.13) there will be a command to get the sunrise / sunset for a given day.
Please also run
GetClockto verify the date is correct.
Phew – I know that is a lot, sorry to ask for so much, but it will help diagnose what is going on.
Thanks!!
AnonymousInactiveAugust 27, 2007 at 10:00 pmPost count: 3GetRevision saysRevision 00.11
GetLatLong looks right (negative longitude = west I assume)
GetVersion responds with:
GetVersion
0x2
0x60
0x5
0xea
0xb7
0x3
0x5
0x52
0x6and GetClock is right, if just a minute or so slow.
A sunrise/sunset command would be useful ).
Did I miss anything? Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks again.

AnonymousInactiveFebruary 18, 2008 at 6:09 pmPost count: 2my 1.30 interface says that sunset is 22:34. it is really 17:34 – but i’m in eastern time zone (which i set).. do i use 17 or 22 in my timers?
AnonymousInactiveFebruary 18, 2008 at 6:56 pmPost count: 408The times displayed are GMT. They should be displaying EST if the timezone is set correctly.
Can you please confirm both your timezone and your location setting?
Make sure after you change the timezone, you select “SET TIMEZONE”.
After you select the location, make sure you select “UPDATE”.
