I have a PLM2412UH from Smartlabs and an EZIO40 load controller which I just installed on my insteon network. I downloaded the most recent version of your software and attempted to configure my ezio. The software sees my PLM and is connected on Serial port Com 3. But when attempting to connect to the EZIO it fails after 4 tries. Insteon support ask me to check and see if the device can be seen with their software, which it does. (I understand that their software can not control it. That’s not my issue). Is there something else I need to do or buy?AnonymousInactiveDecember 9, 2012 at 9:41 pmPost count: 1001
Is this a new EZIO4O?
What is displayed on the bottom line left side after connecting to PLM?
Go to the Insteon Traffic tab, check the Trace PLC/PLM Raw box. Attempt to connect to EZIO4O. Post the Insteon Traffic tabAnonymousInactiveDecember 9, 2012 at 10:45 pmPost count: 11

Sorry, didn’t answer first ?…. I purchased it in August – This was the first attempt to install.AnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2012 at 12:12 amPost count: 1001
The SHN Utility is not working correctly. It has received a response from the EZIO4O which it identifes as unexpected even though the response is what should have come back.
The first posted image and the second posted image are from two different SHN Utility versions. I am concerned that parts of two different SHN Utilities exist on the system. I suggest deleting all SHN files, download and install a fresh copy.AnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2012 at 5:22 amPost count: 11

A different Insteon address is being used. The earlier address was 1B.03.7F. The latest trace, which is not getting any device response, is using 1B.0E.7FAnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2012 at 7:09 amPost count: 11
[attachment=0:k5h7s2tx]Insteon Traffic.JPG[/attachment:k5h7s2tx]The last one is the correct one….AnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2012 at 9:46 amPost count: 1001
Have the same problem.
Was a fresh download done after erasing all existing SHN files/directories? Were there any errors during UnZip?
What operating system is being used and it is 32 or 64 bit?
Version 2.02e is in use by various folks so I don’t think the problem is the basic code. Something is unique about the environment.AnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2012 at 10:28 amPost count: 1001
I downloaded the latest SHN Utility Suite 2.02e, unzipped into a new subdirectory, and connected to an EZIOxx device successfully.
Have to find what is unique to the environment the SHN Utility is being used in. OS, 32 64 bit, fresh downloadAnonymousInactiveDecember 10, 2012 at 4:07 pmPost count: 11

What is displayed in the Title line of the initial SHN screen?
The initial post shows the first screen displaying v2.0. Does the first screen still show v2.0AnonymousInactiveDecember 11, 2012 at 4:36 amPost count: 11
