Good talking with you on the phone and sorry about the confusion.
To clarify to everyone, the EZSnsRF is not a unversal RF receiver, but it only recognizes the Dakota Alert series 3000 transmitters. Apparently we have not made that clear in our literature.
With the many different public and proprietary RF systems out there, it is virtually impossible for one manufacturer to support them all. The EZSnsRF works at 433.92 Mhz, and it uses narrow-band FSK as is modulation method. Thus the long range. Other systems like garage openers and X10 use ASK and different frequencies.
As we just showed with the EZLQD, we intend to bring you additional sensors that will work with the EZSnsRF unit. Supporting this technology is very strategic for us.
