There is not a doc available yet. I will get one posted shortly (1-2 weeks). If you have some specific questions in the meantime, please feel free to email (paul@simplehomenet.com).
Also, using the quickstart guide, it is not necessary to use insteon commands, you can configure the module to work.
Yes, but I am seeing some weird behavior.
I have a Dakota Alert WMT-3000 IR motion sensor.
If I set DIP switch 9 “off” (down) and switch 10 “on”, it appears that the nsRF is sending device on and off Insteon messages every time the device is triggered:
2007-05-02 07:28:39 Received INSTEON “EZSnsRF” on (button 2)
2007-05-02 07:28:41 Received INSTEON “EZSnsRF” off (button 2)
If I set DIP switch 9 “on” (up) and switch 10 “on”, it appears that the nsRF is only sending the device off messages when the device is triggered:
(I triggered the motion detector multiple times…)
2007-05-04 23:25:34 Received INSTEON “EZSnsRF” off (button 2)
2007-05-04 23:25:52 Received INSTEON “EZSnsRF” off (button 2)
2007-05-04 23:26:09 Received INSTEON “EZSnsRF” off (button 2)
2007-05-04 23:26:27 Received INSTEON “EZSnsRF” off (button 2)
Any ideas ?
